The “Country of the World – Estonia” creative contest for studentsFinished

The Estonian Information Technology Foundation for Education invites all learners to participate in the “Country of the World – Estonia” creative contest for students. The Republic of Estonia will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2018, and with the given contest, the Information Technology Foundation for Education encourages all young people to suggest ideas that characterise Estonia as a country of the world and help us to better stand out from other nations.

Entries can be submitted both to a computer-drawing contest and a digital creative-work contest:
 
The EENet computer-drawing contest
 
The EENet computer-drawing contest is meant for competitors of all ages! The topics are as follows:
 
• Born in Gadgetville, a village of inventors
• Cleaning up the world began here
• ID-card to the world
• Welcome, e-resident!
• A gift to the world
• All for one and one for all!
• Well-known buzzards
• The best song festival in the world
 
You can submit your drawings from 1 September through 10 November 2015; the best computer drawings will be announced on 30 November 2015.

ProgeTiger and Cool Thing digital creative-work contest
 
Teams consisting of up to five members within the age range of 5–20 are invited to participate in the ProgeTiger and Cool Thing digital creative work contest.
You can submit animations, videos, digital study-materials, or handicrafts created with an embroidery machine. You may also participate in the ProgeTiger contest by entering a computer game, mobile app, electronic music track, or an entry made with 3D-technology.
The preliminary regional rounds of the competition will take place from 30 November to 6 December. This provides an excellent opportunity for all participants to receive feedback and useful suggestions concerning their contest entry. The finished entry is expected to be submitted by 29 February 2016. The best authors will compete in the final round to take place at the Tallinn Creative Hub on 23 April 2016.
