Estonian national language 100

On the day of 4 June 2019, one hundred years will pass from the time the Constituent Assembly adopted the temporary arrangements for the governance of the Republic of Estonia – a law that has also been called the precursor to our constitution.

In this pre-constitutional act, the Estonian language was spoken for the first time as a national language of Estonia. This is how we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Estonian national language on 4 June: at 11:15, the concert in the Estonia concert hall begins, and the presentation of Rasmus Puur's opera “The colours of the clouds” will take place.
