The innovative birthing room offers all the modern amenities for the woman giving birth and her support people. The birthing room features a bath, screen, sound system and adjustable lighting. Endrik Reimer, Development and Project Manager of Germund Hulgi OÜ, thanked all the people (“fans of nuts”), who have helped make the gift possible for Estonia and Estonians.

Germund Hulgi OÜ, which sells nuts, seeds and dried fruits, and is fully based on Estonian capital, collected funds for constructing the new birthing room from the sale of its “Centenary mix”

"I encourage active companies to get in touch with us, so that together we can make small miracles come true for Estonia’s maternity hospitals. There are a lot of ideas that need quick action and implementation," Mary Teras, Managing Director of the Estonian Maternity Support Fund, said.
