The first weekend of October during the Brussels Pop&Shop Fashion and Design Market, 40 designers from Austria, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Faroe Islands and Hungary are awaiting Belgian and international visitors who are sensitive to different and qualitative design. Some are established designers, others are young up-coming talents at the beginning of a promising career. All are professionals and carefully selected by an international jury to participate in Brussels Pop&Shop. Four brands will be representing Estonia: Killud, Tjorven Kids, EHERÜS and PITSILIINE
Under the umbrella ‘Slow fashion and up-cycling’ they showcase contemporary fashion and design objects, many of them with a discrete reference to their culture or nature. Either it’s in the materials they use (like special wood, moss or brown trout skin) and special treatments, or it’s in the shapes and colours. Wonderfully nuanced and sensitive!
For all design lovers who like to differentiate and appreciate beautiful materials and savoir-faire, this is a unique opportunity to discover and buy new creations from unexpected horizons!
Dates and place: 6—8th October 2017 - De Markten , Oude Graanmarkt/Vieux Marché aux Grains 5, 1000 Brussels. Free entrance.
Pop&Shop Fashion and Design Market is an initiative of EUNIC Brussels, the network of cultural institutes of European Countries in Brussels. Growing every year, 2017 will be the 4th edition with 40 well-selected designers from 8 countries.
