Edward von Lõngus´s Digital Street Art Tour reaches Berlin on 7 September 2017! Additional information: restartreality.org and www.facebook.com/EdwardvonL6ngus/. Artworks combining street art and digital technology will give new life to a range of colourful characters from 100 years of history, building a bridge between the past and the present. At first sight positioned as observers on the streets of a foreign country, they will invite passers-by to get to know them better using smartphones and tablets. Augmented-reality technology will bring our characters to life. Equipped with props from their own time, our time-travellers are happy to make friends with passers-by, and perhaps also to teach the people around them something new and quirky.
NOAR.eu art platform offers a broad overview of professional contemporary art from Estonia and the Baltics, bringing together more than 200 artists and ca 2000 artworks. In addition, NOAR runs a variety of initiatives with a common denominator of bringing art in touch with wider audiences, oftentimes in public space. This includes organising Tallinn Art Week, creating public space art in the future smart district in Tartu and Ülemiste City, as well as a digital street art project in cooperation with Edward von Lõngus that introduces Estonia in 10 European capitals in the context of the country´s 100th anniversary and EU presidency.
