The event will be opened with a bicycle seminar on 4 June at 6pm, where people from various walks of life closely or loosely linked to cycling will make presentations. Taking the stage will be Rasmus Kaljujärv and Tõnis Savi, Hannes Laar, Kristjan Port, Rauno Pello, Peeter Koppel, and Meeri and Risto Klausen.
There will also be bicycle polo, cycling uphill, a bicycle picnic, the joint bicycle ride Tour d’ÖÖ and many other bicycle-related events during the festival.
Tallinn Bicycle Week and the Tour d'ÖÖ rides are part of the jubilee programme of the Republic of Estonia 100, and this year’s festival is a launch for the major project of 2018.
