XIV Tallinna Kammermuusika Festival

Muusikute fond PLMF kingib festivali Eesti Vabariigi 100. sünnipäeva pidulikuks tähistamiseks, kontsertide kavad on üles ehitatud valdavalt eesti heliloojate loomingust.

Family event

In 2018, PLMF Music Trust is for the first time focusing mostly on the Estonian composers’ creation in the concert programs of Tallinn Chamber Music Festival. Our outstanding musicians will have the chance to reach the hearts of the audience through the classics of Estonian music. We are giving the whole festival as a gift to celebrate the Republic of Estonia’s centenary.

Festival has become a tradition and it belongs to the top events of Estonian classical music. The high-quality music festival of our beautiful capital is concentrated to a short period of time and is giving the audience an opportunity to enjoy a multitude of performances by Estonian as well as foreign top musicians through which it embellishes and enriches the cultural scene of Tallinn and entire Estonia.

The festival has been awarded with the European Festivals Association’s EFFE quality mark in 2015-2018.

For the 13th time the Marje and Kuldar Sink Young Musician award will be given out in the context of the festival by Mrs. Mari-Ann and Mr. Tunne Kelam, see who received  the award during previous years.

Every year we are putting up a music tent at the Freedom Square, on 1st of September there will be concerts with free entrance, which are expecting an audience from 11 AM to 6 PM. The performers include the students of several music schools of Estonia and many ensembles, reciting the creation of Estonian composers.

On 26th of August we are organizing a novelty family concert in Swedish St. Michael’s Church, where young as well as mature soloists will perform. Estonian music’s classical pearls will be heard. Concert is with free entrance!
