The two-day construction themed event BuildIT is coming back for it’s fifth time this year. Everyone is welcome to visit as we unite highschool and univetsity students, young engineers and also construction companies, to give the participants an idea of what’s going on in the field of construction engineering and help find useful contacts. BuildIT consists of a horizon-broadening conference day, challenging competition day and educational workshops.
The subject this year is modular buildings and automated construction focusing on the innovative developments in Estonian construction. BuildIT is hosted by the Student Council of the Faculty of Engineering at TTÜ. The Student Council of Engineering was formed in 2017 to unite the active and eager students of the previous faculties of construction, mechanics and energetics. The council represents the voice of the students in the faculty. To ensure the quality and diversity of education in the faculty, the council organizes various events in and outside TTÜ and collaborates with different businesses and societies to unite engineers from all walks of life.
