It is the year we as a country celebrate 100 years of independence of the Republic of Estonia. Tallinn, capital of Estonia, is a city with a long and rich history and culture. Tallinn upholds the values of the entire country. The year 2018 is the European Year of Cultural Heritage under a slogan – Our Heritage: where the past meets the future. It is a special privilege and very meaningful to have EITF European Championships in Tallinn during this year. Taekwon-do is not merely about developing physical exertion and skill but also about learning spiritual discipline and culture. The citizens of Tallinn know how to recognize and value it.
