Vaba Rahva Laul toimub juubelisuvel 19. augustil 2018 kell 20:00 Paide Vallimäel.

Laulupidu juhib Veikko Täär.

Osalevad lauljad Marko Matvere, Siiri Sisask, Koit Toome, Nele-Liis Vaiksoo, Boris Lehtlaan, Valter Soosalu, Oliver Leppik jt; lisaks on laval üle tuhande koorilaulja üle Eesti. Lauljaid saadab Urmas Lattikase ansambel.

Laulupeo kavas on isamaalised ja muidu ilusad laulud eesti keeles. Laulupidude traditsiooniga avastame meie kodumaa ilusaid paiku, tunneme koos ühislaulmise väge ja saame jälle natuke paremateks inimesteks.

Selle traditsiooniga toome isamaalised laulupeod inimestele lähemale! Tänu Taasiseseisvumisele saame tähistada vääriliselt ka Eesti Vabariigi 100. sünnipäeva!

Elagu Eesti ja Vaba Rahva Lauluni!

More than a thousand choir singers from all over Estonia will also take the stage. The singers are accompanied by Urmas Lattikas Band.

The Vaba Rahva Laul song festivals are organised to celebrate the Day of Restoration of Independence of Estonia each year – this time, it will take place for the 27th time. In 2017, it was held on the Intsikurmu Song Festival Grounds in Põlva. With these festivals, we celebrate the Estonian language and Estonian songs. The program includes patriotic and beautiful songs in Estonian. With the song festival tradition, we discover beautiful places in Estonia, feel the power of singing together, and become better persons. With this tradition, we bring patriotic song festivals closer to our people. This time, the festival will be extra powerful.

Thanks to the Restoration of Independence, we can celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia. Long live Estonia and see you at Vaba Rahva Laul!
