A one-day pop-up university event of Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) will take place at Aalto University, where we will introduce TalTech’s fields of activity and practices, in which TalTech (and Estonia) holds a leading position both in Europe and worldwide (cyber security, product development, robotics, electrical engineering and mechatronics). The pop-up university helps strengthen the image of Tallinn University of Technology and Estonia in Finland as a pioneer in information society development, designer, leader and implementer of innovative technological solutions.
TalTech’s science programme includes open lectures on cyber security and smart city. In addition, there will be an exhibition area, where we will provide information on the Schools of Tallinn University of Technology and introduce the Formula Student and the unique self-driving vehicle TalTech Iseauto.

12 p.m. – 1.30 p.m. open lecture Cyber hygiene- How to survive and be safe in the cyberspace? Best practices from cybersecurity students. The speakers are Kristiina Konno (from Estonia), and Andrew Roberts (from Australia) who are both first-year cybersecurity students.
2 p.m. – 3.30 p.m. open lecture Smart City: “How to connect cities digitally? The case of Finland and Estonia”. The speaker is Ralf-Martin Soe, a Research Fellow at the R. Nurkse Department of Innovation and Governance.
