GERMAN SPRING 201809.-29.04.2018
———–
Our book fridges are attention-getters, a place for encounters and a contribution to the public “reading culture” and will soon be the talk of the town. Anyone passing by can take a book to read or leave one for someone else to find at no charge.
Public book exchange
Since reading at home was invented, literature has nearly completely disappeared from public space. So why not bring literature back into the public sphere?
With our public book fridges we want to create a place for a brief pause, for escaping your everyday routine and a place to swap ideas and to encourage greater interest in books and literature.
The design of both book fridges has been realised by students of the art acacdemy Sally Stuudio. Thank you very much!

About German Spring

The themes of the events range from culture and language to economics and science. In 2018, we welcome Hamburg as a partner of the German weeks in Estonia.
