'Eia’s Christmas at Phantom Owl Farm’ has already been seen by over 143,000 people | EV100

In the ranking of domestic and foreign films screened last year, ‘Eia jõulud Tondikakul’ holds a second place after ‘Klassikokkutulek 2’.

‘The film will definitely be shown in cinemas for a few more weeks so that anyone that wishes can see it on the big screen,’ said the producers of the film Maie Rosmann-Lill and Maario Masing.

The main roles are played by 11-year-old Paula Rits and 13-year-old Siim Oskar Ots, chosen from more than 3,000 candidates. In addition to the kids, the cast includes actors Jaan Rekkor, brothers Märt Pius and Priit Pius, Juhan Ulfsak, Tambet Tuisk, Mirtel Pohla, Priit Võigemast, Anne Reemann, Tõnu Oja, Meelis Rämmeld, Maria Annus, Robert Annus and others. The singer Liis Lemsalu is making her acting debut in the film.

The last premiere of Estonia 100 film programme will be on 20 February, when Tanel Toom’s ‘Truth and Justice’ will be screened. The much-anticipated feature film, based on A. H. Tammsaare’s novel will hit the cinemas of Estonia on 22 February.
