From 12 to 18 November, an exhibiton- screening “Trial and Error”, curated by Kulla Laas (Foku) and Kaisa Maasik will be shown at Tramway. It features works by Flo Kasearu, Mari-Leen Kiipli, Paul Kuimet, Laura Kuusk and Camille Laurell, Mark Raidpere, Liina Siib, Ingel Vaikla and Marge Monko.
A talk on “Contemporary Love” by Marge Monko will be held on 12 November at the CCA.
Tramway will show works by three outstanding Estonian choreographers . “Start. Based on a True Story” by Mart Kangro, “State and Design” by Karl Saks and “Imagine There Is a Fish” by Sigrid Savi will be shown on 13 and 14 November.
The Estonian National Ballet will make its Scottish debut . Three short ballets – “Time” by Tiit Helimets, “Silent monologues” by Thomas Edur and “Echo” by Eve Mutso will be shown in Tramway on 16 and 17 November.
GFT will screen “November” by Rainer Sarnet on 14 November and “Ice” by Anna Hints and “The Man Who Looks Like Me” by Katrin and Andres Maimik will screen on 17 November.
On 15 November, a public lecture by the Estonian ambassador to the UK, Tiina Intelmann, followed by the screening of the documentary “Rodeo” by Kiur Aarma and Raimo Jõerand will be held at Kelvin Hall Lecture Theatre.
On 16 November Linnar Viik and Adam Rang will introduce the success of the e-Estonia at the Strathclyde University Technology and Innovation Center.
On 17 November, the Estonian electronic musicians Hypnosaurus, DJ Ilmajaam, Hape and Cubus Larvik alongsode with Glasgow-based DJ Ajay C will perform at Stereo.
The festival will end on 18 November with an Estonian brunch at the restaurant Gandolfi Fish.
