PÖFF Shorts festival is opened by an Estonia 100 music event “The Traces” | EV100

PÖFF Shorts film festival is opened by an Estonia 100 music event “The Traces” this year, to celebrate the centenary of the Republic of Estonia. The audio-visual concert, only performed two times, reflects the history of Estonian movies in music and in images.

“The Traces” is an audio-visual live concert by director Andres Tenusaar and composer Taavi Kerikmäe, based on 13 Estonian movies from 1964–2013. The visuals are re-composed from original movies, using different animation and video technologies that are mixed in the concert with picture and sound editing.

The audio-visual concert “The Traces” of the Estonia 100 music program is performed on 16 November in the Tartu Electric Theatre (Elektriteater) and on 20 November in the Sõprus cinema.

The international short films and animation festival PÖFF Shorts is held from 20 to 28 November in Tartu and in Tallinn. The PÖFF Shorts tickets are available in Piletilevi. The passes for PÖFF and PÖFF Shorts are available on the PÖFF web site.
